Bath stove TMF Variata Barrel Inox vitra rosewood

Device and scope of application

One of the products in the Meta Angara line is a wood-burning stove-fireplace. This device is presented in the form of a heating unit with a power of 9-12 kW. It is constructed of steel, steel plates 5 mm thick. The outside of the oven is completely treated with a powder substance. This model differs from others in its large door made of antipyretic ceramics.

Thanks to it, you can monitor the fire without fear of getting burned. The air is heated through a base unit made of steel plates. At the extreme point of the oven there are holes designed to allow hot air to pass through. This system allows you to heat a room quickly without requiring a large amount of resources.

All hangar stoves are similar in appearance to Yenisei stoves, but there are differences between them. For example, Yenisei stoves do not have windows on the sides. Also, Angara stoves have one feature - finishing in the form of ceramic tiles of a single color, in which the chopped lines are softened.

The internal structure of the furnace is presented in the form of fireclay tiles and a grate made of cast iron. There is also a drawer for storing firewood under the firebox.

When kindling 1 bookmark, they usually load up to 3-4 kg and this supply is usually enough for 6-8 hours. Hangar stoves can be repaired if they break down. The inserts can usually be replaced with new ones. The stove is used to heat residential premises, country houses and houses whose area does not exceed 120 square meters.

Overview of all models

There are 3 types of Angara stoves on the market:

  • standard option;
  • with heat exchanger;
  • large ovens.

Hangar model

A standard stove with dimensions of 1.01 x 0.56 x 0.51 m and a weight of 150 kg. Model angular and frontal. A stronger base is not required; wood serves as the main fuel. It is also strictly forbidden to use coal. The stove is not designed for the amount of heat that coal produces. The strength of the fire is controlled by a blower system with dampers.

Angara Aqua

This model has similar dimensions to the standard stove in this line. It features water heating with radiators. This is a more powerful model designed to heat larger rooms.

The power of the Aqua Angara is 18 kW. Open and closed systems that have hydraulic circulation are used. The volume of this system should not exceed 130 liters.

In addition to the stove, they also provide various auxiliary elements, such as a protective plate, fittings for connections and others. This model, if broken, can be easily repaired. By removing the side plates and replacing them with new ones.

It is impossible not to notice that there is a heat exchanger with a volume of up to 4 liters, which is made of 5 mm steel. The peculiarity of this design is that it can be heated without the use of a heat exchanger. But kindling in this way contributes to faster wear of the unit. It is forbidden to heat without filling the circuit.

The furnace has a specific connection diagram with a 2-pipe connection. There are filters, thermostats and air vents here.

Angara Aqua stove

Angara 12

A large model with fairly large dimensions with a power of 12 kW. Suitable for heating rooms up to 120 square meters. One of the main differences between this model and others is the more capacious melting chamber. It can accommodate large firewood, which is why it is more expensive than other models. All other characteristics of this stove are the same as those of previous models.

Choosing an Angara stove for your sauna

When choosing heating devices, you should pay attention to a number of nuances that apply to both the stove and the bathhouse. The most important thing in this matter: do not go wrong with the power of the unit and choose it according to the area of the bathhouse. In other words, the heater should warm the room as much as is necessary for a comfortable stay in it - no more, no less than that.

The most common mistakes of many bathhouse developers

Situations Result
Use of high power units. Many people believe that this way the steam room will warm up faster. Yes, this is true, but then the heating unit will switch to minimum heating mode. The stones in the firebox will become cold, and no aroma of wood will be felt during the bathhouse. You should not spill water on weakly heated stones in the firebox, as this will not bring results: in such cases, the likelihood of steam formation is low. If it does appear, it will come out in clubs, like from a teapot. And the bathhouse is characterized by light, transparent steam. Otherwise, staying in the steam room will be uncomfortable and even harmful to health.
It is also wrong to go to the other extreme: when bathhouse developers equip the premises with a heating device with low power. The purpose of choosing just such a unit is to save costs on the purchase of a heating device. But if he manages to warm up the steam room, then for this it will have to work in maximum mode. And this will negatively affect the service life of this unit due to its premature wear.

Only if the stove is purchased for a hamam (Turkish bath), the power indicator does not matter. Why? The fact is that, traditionally, Turkish baths are not equipped with sauna stoves. In those cases when the role of a bathhouse is not a hammam, but, for example, a traditional Russian bathhouse, the power of the bathhouse stove should be optimal in relation to the area of the steam room. For this purpose, it is recommended to determine the volume of the steam room. Based on the obtained indicator, the required power of the heating device is established.

How is the volume of the steam room determined? To do this, the width, length and height of the room are measured. By multiplying these parameters, the total volume of the steam room is obtained. You should also pay attention to the presence of uninsulated areas on the walls and ceiling. For example, masonry, tiles, double-glazed windows, cladding, etc. If there are such uninsulated areas, you need to multiply the width and length of these sections of the room - this is how their area is determined. The resulting figure is added to the total volume of the steam room. The calculations also take into account the glass door (if one is installed in the bathhouse).

When purchasing heating units (including Angara models), you need to focus on how much space a particular stove can heat. You can follow the rule that 1 kW of device power is consumed per 1 cubic meter of space.

Pros and cons of Meta fireplace stoves

One of the main advantages of this line is the right balance between quality and cost. The stoves are manufactured under constant technical control and this explains the fact that there are no shortcomings in the external parameters of the unit.

The power fully corresponds to the manufacturer's statements. A fairly spacious firewood storage chamber adds more functionality to the stove. The ash pan is large enough to be removed when cleaning the oven. For example, the Angara Aqua stove model is very compact and roomy. It also has comfortable inserts. In general, the models look interesting and beautiful in appearance. Side inserts, large glass area, and a comfortable handle make the model look more pleasant.

The disadvantages include high fuel costs, and the side insert also gets dirty quickly.

Help with choosing, basic rules.

Before choosing a stove model, you need to find out what size room it will heat. You should choose the optimal power, depending on the purpose of the purchase. If you cannot decide on the heat calculation, you can look at the numbers indicated in the unit’s passport. To do this, just ask the seller. Also, the number indicated in the passport indicates the maximum power. When working with this range, it is not recommended to use the oven at full power. This leads to faster wear.

First of all, when choosing a stove, you need to check the external signs of the unit, its deformations, defects. Ovens with scratches and dents are excluded, as this will affect the future operation of the oven. Parts should not jam, fastenings should be reliable. When purchasing, you must take all certificates and documents for your model.

Review: Hangara 12. The base of the stove is an opening made specifically during the construction of the house. I planned to buy the brick version, but after talking with stove makers I knew, I came to the conclusion not to buy it. In general, I decided to buy Angara, since the housing was not permanent, plus it was recommended to me in advance. The base of the opening is gypsum board, since I have enough of this material. I also want to separate the bedroom and kitchen for a more comfortable environment. I don’t plan to do any finishing for the next six months, but we’ll test the gypsum board at the same time. This material is made with 1 cm less than the furnace; there is also a 1 cm thick layer of basalt between the furnace and the stand. Due to the presence of gypsum board, you can keep your hands close to the stove (about 2-3 hours after heating)

Review: Angara Aqua. The stove was purchased and delivered a little less than a year ago. I didn't use it much because it wasn't connected to batteries. I was advised not to use it without a boiler; they said that it would not last long this way. One of the advantages I would like to note is that it heats the home very quickly (well, of course, depending on the area of the room). The stove was placed in the utility room, since it is large (area 30 m2). The very fast operation of this model cannot but rejoice; we even had to heat it in severe frosts. I maintain the slow smoldering mode by adjusting the dampers.

I often visit this house in winter. Once, at a temperature of -20 degrees, they heated it in more than 4 hours. Fans were used to move this hot air around the house. To summarize, I would like to say that I am satisfied with the stove, and next year I plan to take batteries for it. Now let's look at the disadvantages: the inserts on the doors often get dirty, high fuel consumption, the glass coating sometimes smokes, even using dry firewood.

Variata Barrel Inox 8-18 cc. m.

If you like to take not only the classic look of a Russian bath, but also experiment depending on your mood, then the Barrel barrel stove is designed especially for you. It is used for steam rooms with a volume of 8 to 18 cubic meters. Compared to mesh ovens, it has significant advantages. This is a controlled air convention and intense heating of the stones.

The “Compact Inox 2013” firebox served as a prototype for the “Barrel” stove firebox. It is made of durable heat-resistant steel that can withstand high temperatures. The firebox of this furnace has a special design. This allows you to quickly warm up the room and heat the stones with minimal wood consumption. The stove is protected from corrosion due to the ability to drain water. If there is excess water, it can be drained through the hole at the bottom of the heater.

Barrel furnace design

The Barrel stove is covered by a three-year warranty. The company guarantees the strength of the metal and the reliability of the welds. For such furnaces, only heat-resistant steel with a high chromium content is used. In addition, the shape of the stove is unique in its own way. There are no keg-shaped stoves on the market. The shape of the stove was influenced by a serious approach to business. When creating the external appearance of the industrial specimen, the craftsmen took into account all the traditions and rules of cooperage. The Barrel barrel stove can satisfy the needs of a wide range of consumers. You can configure it yourself to the desired mode. This can be either a steam bath or a Finnish dry sauna.

The design of the furnace makes it possible to use several modes. Which create a different microclimate in the bathhouse. The oven is equipped with a basket in which stones are placed. If necessary, it can be removed. This allows you to change the intensity of heat transfer and heat accumulation of the furnace. The basket can be placed on top of the firebox without any problems. Stones are laid in three options.

When using the first option, the placement of stones is provided exclusively in the basket. Thus, the stones fill the available space between the firebox and the casing. In this case, the oven can hold up to 50 kilograms of stones. The result is a high convection oven with an open heater. This allows you to quickly warm up the room due to convection and radiation of heat from the walls of the oven. But in this option it is difficult to create a steam effect. The walls of the oven are heated in the same way as in conventional ovens, the operation of which is based on air convection. When using the following method, stones are placed in the heater and fill the space from the casing to the firebox. Here the oven can hold up to 150 kilograms of stones. If you pack small stones or pack them tightly enough, this will greatly reduce air convection. This is how you get a heat storage furnace. Heat transfer into the steam room is reduced to a minimum, and it takes longer to warm up. Due to the significant heating of the stones, you can get the steam inherent in a classic Russian bath. Due to the fact that heat radiation from the surface of the stove is minimal, this makes your steam room more comfortable. You can sit close to the stove without feeling uncomfortably hot. The third method of laying stones contains a tandem of the previous two. Most of the stones are laid as in the first case. But at the bottom of the space between the firebox and the casing, additional stones are placed. Here, using different levels of filling this space with stones, you can optimize the steam room regime for specific circumstances and wishes. In addition to creating comfortable conditions in the steam room, the option of loading stones to create heat accumulation has no analogues on the stove market. You can buy an expensive oven where you will be able to regulate the convection. But you won’t find a stove that will allow you to adjust its mode specifically to your steam room and your personal preferences. In addition, depending on your desire, you can regularly change the heating mode. The Barrel stove has a beautiful organic design. The casing is made of structural steel. And the convex styles of the boards are painted to resemble rosewood wood. For this purpose, two-color organosilicate paint is used. The hoops have a beautiful graphite color with a metallic tint. The staves look like real wood. A stove with such an attractive appearance will look good in any bathhouse. After all, a barrel standing in a bathhouse has been familiar to everyone since time immemorial and creates a feeling of coziness and comfort. If you place the stove correctly in the steam room, its fuel channel will be invisible to prying eyes. This will give the impression of a free-standing wooden barrel in the corner of the steam room. In production, the “Barrel Vitra” furnace option is available to the consumer. It has a large transparent screen with a diagonal of 42 centimeters.

Advantages of the stove The first noticeable difference between this stove and the others is its unique design. The great advantage of the stove is the ability to change its heat-emitting and heat-storing characteristics by adding stones. The firebox is made of high-quality, resistant high-alloy steel. The parts of the firebox that are most susceptible to temperature are made of thicker metal (one and a half times thicker). The heater can fit quite a lot of stones – up to 150 kilograms. In the Vitra modification, a transparent screen allows you to admire the flame from any viewing angle.
